Not at all. In fact, most of our couples say this! We don’t do stiff, prom-style posing. Instead, we use movement and prompts to help you interact naturally. You focus on each other; we focus on the angles. By the end of the day, you’ll forget we’re even filming.
We embrace it. As a team rooted in the mountains, we know that fog, wind, and rain often create the most cinematic and romantic imagery. We are fully equipped for the elements and will guide you to make the weather part of the story, not a problem.
We keep our footprint small. We use natural light whenever possible and our gear is compact and unobtrusive. We want to capture the atmosphere of your dinner, not kill the mood with a massive spotlight.
We like to keep it simple. For weddings within the Tetons/Jackson Hole/Idaho area, travel is included. For destinations further afield, we create a custom flat-rate travel quote so there are no surprise costs later.
Always. We are paranoid so you don’t have to be. We carry dual cameras, multiple lenses, and back up your footage to multiple hard drives immediately after the wedding. Your legacy is safe with us.
Yes! This is a huge part of our “Deep Dive” process. We will work with you (and your planner) to craft a timeline that prioritizes the best light for photos while ensuring you have plenty of time to actually enjoy your party.
Great storytelling cannot be rushed. We treat every frame with intention, prioritizing quality over speed. You can expect your full photography gallery within 8–10 weeks, while the cinematic film—due to the complex alchemy of sound and color—typically arrives within 12–16 weeks. We promise it is worth the wait.
